Tres Leches!

YUM! I got brave and decided to try to make one. Maile hung around the kitchen until I gave her a lick of the whipped frosting....I think she liked it...don't you?

enjoying the sun!

last week was beeeeautiful here on the Central Coast so we tried to spend as much time outside playing and hanging out. I wish the warm weather would have stuck around because Maile would rather be outside than in! I was pretty happy to catch a few shots of Richard outside playing with his baby girl...shhhh don't tell him I posted them ;-) I just love the last picture of the two of them....

the latest project

Seems as though there is always a new project going on at the tow yard. Our latest project has been laying pavers. We've made a nice parking spot for the Jeepie and cut down on dirt and weeds! OH...and the big ole dog is Kimber our 7 month old St. Bernard! He's such a big ole lug!

More photo's from our zoo/beach day

It was our first time taking Maile to the zoo and I was amazed at how much she enjoyed it. She pointed at everything and made Monkey sounds at the lemur cage. She loved the Merkats...she cracked up at those little guys scurrying around. It was the sweetest thing. At the beach we discovered some really friendly squirels. The got so close to us! The kids loved it...I wasn't to sure about it!

Our first official blog

Well hello family and friends! We've finally done it...we've got a blogspot! What a great way to keep all our loved ones updated on the exciting things that are going on in our life. Business is going well. We find ourselves rather frustrated (and a bit frightened) with the soaring price of fuel but what are we to do? In April we hired a new driver and he is working out better than we ever expected. We are so blessed to have found such a trustworthy, hard working, family man. Its working out beautifully. Maile is getting sooo big! She is an official walker as of 3 weeks ago. She is all over the place and is very proud of her new found freedom. She keeps us all super busy. At 16 months old she walks, talks (a little) and even does some sign language! We laugh each and every day and are still in awe of the joy that our little one brings us. We are also really excited about another little addition to our family. We are 3 months pregnant! The due date will be sometime in late November (maybe my b-day...yeah!) I will keep you posted as soon as I find out! Maile will make an amazing big sister...and we can't wait to see her in action! She loves other children! Although Tanner is now living with his Mom in San Luis Obispo we still have him on Wednesdays. We always try to set aside Wednesday as our "Tanner Day" and do fun family activities. To say that Maile adores him would be an understatement. She loves the time that she gets to spend with him and showers him with affection. He is so sweet and loving with her and always very kind to her. She misses him and cries every time we drop him off at his house at the end of the day. This past week we had a full Wednesday! We went to the zoo in Atascadero and the beach in Morro Bay...and to top the day off Uncle and Tanner went to watch Speed Racer together later that afternoon! What fun!! These are some pictures of our Tanner day...hope you enjoy! May your day be wonderful! much love...
