Catching up with June

In June Maile started her second round of gymnastics. Its such a wonderful program for her. I love watching her interact with other people. She is learning to follow instructions and gain confidance in herself. She is a great tumbler and can even do the splits! I am sure you will see a lot more photos like these...because we plan to keep her in gymnastics for as long as she will let us!

Sawyer turned 7 months old in June...and man is he a stinking cutie pie!! He rolls alllll over the floor but has yet to crawl. He eats like a champ and can't get enough. He will give anyone the biggest smile around (showing off his two bottom teeth!!) We are so in love with our little guy. Daddy put him in the milk crate one afternoon when we got home from town and I couldn't resist taking a few photos of him...they turned out great!

Its been so long...

Since we have blogged...I thought I would try to catch up. So here goes...

In May...

Sawyer had his first foods....and he hasn't looked back! :-)

Maile graduated her first session of gymnastics...and was soo proud of her certificate and her medal. She loves everything about gymnastics...and so do we!

We also went camping and boating with some friends...it was so nice to get out for a few days...since we had been working so hard here at the tow yard. It was Sawyer's first time on the boat and we are all pretty excited to be there together!

Here are a few pics from our Easter...Maile woke up with a huge huggable Pablo from the Backyardigans! We woke up early and put it in her crib...it was too cute to hear her say..."Look it...Look it!" She loves the Backyardigans and toted Pablo around most of the morning...

She loved her "bucket" and was so excited about the "eggies" especially the ones with candy! She would lick her lips and say.."Yummy Tummy!" LOL

Well...its official...Maile sleeps in her own bed at night!! WOOOOOOT WOOOOOOT! The best part is...she did it on her own! One night she wanted to climb in her bed...so we let her...got her some milk...and a binky (of course) and she went to sleep. The next night we went through a bedtime routine and she quietly went down for the night. Every night its the same routine with the same amazing results. We are beyond thrilled! We typically have to get up 1 or 2 times in the night to rub her back and soothe her..which we are happy to do. She has been in our bed since she was 6 months old...finally we can ALL get some restful sleep! (well...besides the baby boy that nurses 3 times a night!)

So....here she is...our silly...lovey...amazing big girl who sleeps in her bed!! YEAH!
